Jeff became an equal partner of JH Automated Solutions LLC, CenTech Automation in 2012. Since that time, CenTech has become specialized in the sales and installation of dust collection systems, compressed air solutions, and industrial grinders. Originally called Centex Automation, the company has now become CenTech Automation and developed a reputation for honesty, hard work, value and quality.
Jeff holds a BBA in Accounting from Stephen F. Austin State University. Early in his career, he held Assistant and Controller positions and Consolidations Accountant in a large franchise, a high speed bottling production facility, and in a large oil and gas and mining equipment production company. As Jeff continued his work in the accounting field, he began to build homes, at one point, even having another position as Sales Manager of a large residential and commercial window and door manufacturing company. Years of working with his father and grand-father gave Jeff a first-hand knowledge of all phases of construction. Thus, Jeff Hamilton Construction was started in 1990.
Later, in 1996, with Jeff being the major owner, a local cabinet production company,TCC was started with a fine eye to detail and quality craftsmanship. In 2007, when the building market crashed, the decision was made to shut down TTC, to focus efforts on navigating the rebound of the construction industry. As that started to happen, Chandler Hamilton, Jeff’s son was finishing his Business Degree at SFASU and made the decision to join the company. As the rebound of the construction industry took place, Jeff had the opportunity to join as an equal partner, JH Automated Solutions, with a vision of eventually turning over the construction business to Chandler.
What began as the partnership, pursuing equipment sales in the production industry, related to the cabinet production sector, grew into additions of dust collection design, installation, service and then the addition of compressed air installations. With the company becoming so diverse, the decision was made to separate the dust and air part of the business from the production machines sales side. This lead to a cordial separation of the partnership, with Jeff focusing on the dust, air, and waste management side of the business. As innovative technology in waste management became more and more important to the woodworking industry, the future direction of CenTech Automation, continued to develop.
Now JH Automated Solutions, LLC, dba Centech Automation has made Dust Collection, Compressed Air, Waste Grinding, and Special Projects, the core of our business services. As in the past, CenTech Automation will continue to grow and respond to the needs of our customers in the woodworking and manufacturing industry.
Chandler Hamilton:Chandler grew up around construction. From afternoons after school, to Saturdays on the job sites, Chandler learned at an early age, the meaning of hard work and responsibility. As a young adult, raising a family, Chandler has come full circle, working hard, and being an integral part of the business.
He, like both his parents and his wife, graduated from SFASU. He holds a degree in General Business, and also developed an interest in AutoCAD and Welding. Chandler has pushed himself to become a controls technician on the products offered by Centech.
Chandler has assumed the role of Vice-President and handles all design work, most estimating and is in charge of all installation.
Chandler is a 4th generation carpenter and cabinet maker.
The future plan is for Chandler to take over the company. He is well on his way.
